Just thought I'd share....

I just bid on a pair of vintage cowboy boots on ebay. I am planning to wear them with a cute sundress (yet to be found) to the Rascal Flatts concert in August. Funny story about how we got those tickets. I was surfing the internet while Justin was napping on the couch one afternoon. I came across the tickets really cheap. I poked him in the arm and asked him if it was okay to buy them. He asked "how much are they?" and after I told him he said "yes". By his response, I assumed he was awake. Nope, he was talking to me in his sleep. He did not even remember the conversation until days later when I brought up my excitement about the concert! I had a good laugh about that one. Now, he's laughing at me bidding on the boots. All I have to say is "boots were made for walking"...."keep laughing, mister!".

Not Lacking in Things to Say, Just Time to Say It!

It seems that once a month is my trend for blogging. I really can't seem to find the time to write a post. I know it's lame. I have lots that I want to talk about. I even have a few half-written posts in my draft folder. And sadly, there are pictures in my digital camera that were taken with the intentions of posting. But, I just never get it done. Our life really seems to be in warp speed. The kids seem to keep growing faster and faster. They are seriously giving me a run for my money! Here are a few of the things (in addition to my usual busyness) that have occured the past few weeks to kept me busy and away from blogging.

Anderson has figured out how to unlock the deadbolt and allow himself, his baby brother and the cats out of the front door.

Anagrace decided it would be fun to dump baby powder in her bed and on her floor.

Ashton likes to climb, yes CLIMB.

Anderson likes to open up our pantry, help himself to a snack and make messes. His favorite thing to get is the PAM which he has sprayed on the hardwood floors and in Ashton's hair.

An unnamed child wiped poop on a dresser. (My least favorite of all of the messes I've had to clean!)

Anagrace decided to "trim" her doll's hair and hide the evidence in the pockets of her clothing.

Ashton's favorite game is "I can turn over the cats' water dish when Mommy forgets to put it up".

Anderson almost swallowed a quarter and I believe he was mildly electricuted by unplugging a power cord.

Both of the boys are getting teeth. One word: WHINEY.

And that is just a few of the things the children are doing to grow my patience. All of that plus the usual mommy duties: laundry, grocery shopping, cooking, cleaning, exercising, taking to preschool/gymnastics, home remodeling projects, yardwork...and the list goes on. Blogging really was a fun thing for me at one time. And I want to get back to it. I'm thinking I may have to pick a day of the week, that night, as a time dedicated to blogging. Then at least it will be once a week instead of once a month.
