When I Grow Up....

Anagrace had her Pre-Kindergarten graduation ceremony last week. She looked all grown-up on stage. All by herself at the microphone at the front of the stage while the other pre-K students sang background, she sang her solos...

"He's Got the Whole World in His Hands"

and the Months of the Year Macarena

We were so proud of her. She has learned so much this year. She loves to learn. And she was able to show us some of what she learned that night. And we learned something about her too....

"My name is Anagrace Prevette, and when I grow up I want to be a ROCK STAR"
Hilarious!!

Anderson Jude is TWO!

My firstborn son is two years old today! I cannot believe it! He is an absolute joy to our family. He is such an easy-going guy. He has a funny personality and loves making us laugh...which he does quite often. He is starting to talk so much now. I like to hear him put 2 and 3 words together to make a sentence. "Daddy choo-choo out" was his request for Justin to get his train out of the box. "I like car" was the only line in a song he made up...he sang it over and over and danced like a character on Charlie Brown. He is intrigued by all things with wheels, but he is especially fond of firetrucks and tractors and trains. He makes engine noises with his food as he pushes it along the tray. He is feeding himself now and he's pretty good with using the fork and spoon. He is becoming more and more independent. But, he is still a sweet, cuddly fellow. He likes to crawl up in our lap to look at a book, watch Barney or Elmo, or to rock before bedtime. I hope he never outgrows the hugs and kisses for Mommy!

Happy 2nd Birthday, Anderson Jude....we love you!
