I have been given by first bloggy award. My friend Susan gave it to me first, then I was nominated a second time by my friend Patti! Thanks, girls, I'm honored!

So, now it's time for me to nominate...

Most of the blogs I follow have already been nominated, but I will second those nominations and add a few new ones. Here are my nominees and the reasons I love their blogs:

1. beyond our wildest dreams-I met Jenny through my former MOPs group. She started this blog to document her journey of the adoption of her beautiful Sophie. Now, she posts sweet stories about her entire family, including her fourth child on the way!

2. the dooley clan- I met Heather through my church and we are currently in a book club/small group together. She started her blog in November and I'm so glad she did. She's even trying to get her hubby to post which I think is very cool!

3. farmersdaughter forever- I've known Beth for over 4 years now. We met at our former church. She shares whatever is on her heart on her blog in such a candid, casual way.

4. the haigler family- Mary is a friend from college. She shares stories as a first-time mommy. You can just sense her love and pride in her posts.

5. kimber britner- Kimber was a leader of my former small group. She is beautiful inside and out. She is an inspirational speaker and imparts some of her wisdom on her blog.

6. n to the p-I met Nicole at church when we nursed our sons at the same time in the church nursery. We only spoke a few times, but in one of our conversations we mentioned blogging. I found hers and have enjoyed reading her stories as a first-time mommy.

7. sunscorched and satisfied- Holly was in a book club with me before she moved to Florida. She tells stories about ministry and motherhood. I love the sense of humor she portrays through her blog! I can definately relate to the crazy stories of a mother of 3!!

8. teri sue's thoughts- Teri is another one of my small group/book club buddies. She has the sweetest spirit and that comes through in her blog entries.

9. what if...- Erin is also a book club buddy. She is such a talented writer! I mean she can even make a post about an electric pencil sharpener entertaining! I love, love reading her blog. It often creates a tear or a chuckle.

10. w4torock- Kate is a friend from my former church. She is a homeschooling mother to four, well soon five! She tells about her adventures in life and motherhood.

Just Wondering...

...why the past few weeks I have had to beg and coax Anderson to eat a meal, but all on his own he chooses to eat cat food and dog food?

...why I have had a bad hair week and the day I plan to call to schedule an appointment my hair looks pretty good?

...why Anagrace and Anderson only care about a toy/crayons/book when the other one has it?

...how 3 small children can make so much noise? (And be especially loud if I am trying to talk on the phone. )

...why I can't get Ashton to sleep through the night...or even for more than 4 hours?

...how long will this spring-like weather stick around?

...what to cook for dinner?

Snow Day

Well, once again we missed the snow. But, this time there is no guilt. I cannot take the blame. It seems that the entire surrounding area recieved some amount of snowfall, but not us! So, we made our own! Justin and I brought home some "Snow to Go" for Anagrace from our recent trip to the mountains. She had a blast playing in it, with no whining about being cold! I even made some hot cocoa afterwards. Here is the little "snow bunny":
